Big Bear Transfer Station – Dump Site – 38550 Holcomb Valley Road, Big Bear City, CA Hours of operation: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Solid waste in Big Bear Lake neighborhoods is handled by the City of Big Bear Lake’s Public Works Waste Management Division. Big Bear Disposal, partner to the city, handles trash pick-up, manages the trash drop off (Clean Bear) sites, and also facilitates hazardous waste disposal and recycling. The Big Bear City Community Services District’s (CSD) service area covers communities outside the City of Big Bear Lake.
